Provands Lordship History
Provand's Lordship is the only medieval house in Glasgow, built in 1471 by Bishop Muirhead, the building was part of St Nicholas' Hospital. The Provand's Lordship is the oldest house in Glasgow and has a magnificent collection of historic Scottish furniture.
Paranormal Activity
There have been many reports of paranormal activity in the building. Objects are frequently moved around the building, the sound of footsteps are often heard and staff report dramatic temperature drops in certain parts of the building.
Cathedral House Hotel History
The Cathedral House Hotel was built in the 1870's. It was used for many years as a rehabilitation centre for female prisoners from the nearby prison. Today the building is used as a hotel and bistro.
Paranormal Activity
This location has been home to many a ghostly sighting. People have reported being pushed on the stairways, children have been heard on the top floor of the building and the current owners report that the top floor is often an uncomfortable place to be.
